New Livestream Series: SUNO AI 3 WORD CHALLENGE — THREE WORDS, ONE SONG, A WHOLE LOT OF CREATIVITY!
SUNO AI 3 WORD CHALLENGE — THREE WORDS, ONE SONG, A WHOLE LOT OF CREATIVITY! - SUNDAYS 3PM MST
How three random words turned into a live songwriting adventure
I have to admit, when I first started the SUNO AI 3 WORD CHALLENGE, I wasn't entirely sure what I was getting myself into. I had an idea: take three words, throw them into the creative mix, and see if we could turn them into an original song using Suno AI.
Well, as it turns out, three little words can take you in some pretty unexpected directions!
What started as an experiment in songwriting and AI-assisted music creation has become a regular livestream adventure. It's a chance to have some fun, challenge ourselves creatively, involve the audience, and see just how far we can take an idea in a limited amount of time.
And the best part? We never really know what we're going to end up creating.
So, What's the 3 Word Challenge?
The concept is pretty straightforward.
We start with three words. They can be completely unrelated, unusual, funny, serious, or just plain ridiculous. The audience gets to help choose them, and once we have our three words, the clock starts ticking!
Our goal is to take those words and turn them into an original song using Suno AI, ideally getting it into Suno and generating our music within about 45 minutes.
I'm KINNEAS, and when my co-host HAZARD joins me, we both get to work with the same three words. It's interesting to see how two different creative minds can take exactly the same starting point and come up with completely different musical ideas.
We don't just throw three words into Suno and hope for the best. There's a creative process involved.
We have to figure out what the words might mean together, find a story or an interesting angle, come up with a title and a hook, decide what kind of music would work, develop the lyrics, and then work on the style and production direction.
Sometimes the idea comes together quickly. Other times, we take a few wrong turns, argue with a lyric, rethink a chorus, or discover that the song has taken us somewhere we never expected.
That's part of the fun!
The Audience Is Part of the Creative Process
One thing I've really wanted to do with this series is make it more than just another livestream where people sit back and watch someone create music.
I want people watching to have a say in what happens.
That's why we started by inviting the audience to help us choose the three words. Those words become the foundation for everything that follows.
But the audience can contribute much more than that.
We want your suggestions for musical genres, instruments, tempos, vocal styles, harmonies, lyrical ideas, story directions, and even changes to the lyrics as we're developing the song.
You might hear something that gives us an idea we hadn't considered. You might suggest a musical direction that completely changes the feel of the song. Or you might come up with a line that turns out to be exactly what the chorus needed.
The challenge is a lot more interesting when everyone gets involved.
And we're continuing to find new ways to bring people into the process.
Now You Can Play Along, Too!
Here's something I'd really like to see develop as the series continues.
If you have a Suno account, you don't have to just watch us create songs. You can take the same three words and create your own song!
Think about it. Everybody starts with exactly the same three words, but there's no telling where each person will go with them.
You might write a country song while someone else creates a rock anthem. Somebody might turn the words into a comedy song, while another person comes up with something emotional and completely unexpected.
That's the beauty of this challenge. There isn't one right answer.
I'd love to have people create their own versions, share their songs with us, and bring them back so we can listen to them together. We can talk about the lyrics, the musical direction, the arrangement, the vocals, and all the creative decisions that went into making them.
We can compare approaches, celebrate the unexpected results, and learn from one another.
I'd especially like to make room in future livestreams for listening to and reviewing songs submitted by people playing along.
The three words aren't just our challenge anymore. They're an invitation for everyone to create something!
What Have We Learned Along the Way?
Every livestream has been a little different, and that's what keeps this interesting.
We've discovered that the three words don't have to make sense together when they're first presented. In fact, sometimes the more unrelated they are, the more interesting the creative possibilities become.
We've learned that finding the story is often more important than finding the rhyme. A good title and a memorable hook can give a song its identity, but the lyrics still need to tell us something worth listening to.
We've also learned that Suno AI is a creative tool, not a magic button. Getting a good result takes thought, experimentation, and a willingness to make decisions along the way.
Sometimes the first idea works. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes Suno surprises us with something wonderful, and sometimes we have to go back and try again.
That's songwriting!
And that's really what I enjoy about this whole experience. We're not just generating music. We're exploring ideas, developing stories, experimenting with different musical styles, and learning how to get more out of the tools available to us.
Most importantly, we're having fun doing it.
The Adventure Continues!
As we move forward, I'd like to see the SUNO AI 3 WORD CHALLENGE continue to grow beyond just KINNEAS and HAZARD creating songs on a livestream.
I'd love to see more audience participation, more people playing along, more original songs being shared, and more opportunities to hear what everyone comes up with.
You don't have to be a professional songwriter. You don't have to know anything about music theory. You don't even have to have used Suno before.
Bring your imagination, a few ideas, and a willingness to experiment.
You might be surprised by what three words can inspire.
So join us for a future livestream, help us pick the words, contribute your ideas, or create your own song and share it with us.
Three words. One challenge. Endless possibilities.
And we haven't run out of words yet!
